What happens when we complain about someone. I mean does it ever go well? No one wants to know why and how they suck. If we say to someone that you lack this or that, inside the person would stop respecting us. Why? The reason is simple they would why don't you clean your own house before you try to tell me to clean mine.
There is famous story I don't remember exactly where I heard it. The story is about a man and his beloved who loved each other a lot. They wanted to be together and fix their breaking marriage, so the wife wanting to change the situation asked her husband to tell her 6 things he would want to change about her. He knew that he was the main reason why the marriage wasn't working out and if she wanted she could find a million reasons about how he was responsible for the breaking marriage. So, he decided he was going to send her a note and six roses saying that there is nothing she was doing wrong and everything was perfect about her, as you would guess they both got very emotional and decided to rekindle the love they had for each other. Slowly and gradually the marriage started working out, the reason was accepting each other for what they were and appreciating the great things they saw in each other.
The major takeaways from the stories are that the power to make someone your enemy or friend is based entirely on what you say to them, and more importantly how you say it. Everyone wants to feel special, then why not make them feel special. They can feel that you care about them and they will do the same.
The thin line between flattery and appreciation should not be broken though. Appreciation should be honest and not flattery an honest. An honest word can be very lethal guys. So always be honest but never try to bullshit anyone and you will see the results.
