Everything evolves and everything becomes fashionable, including fitness, and as proof of this year after year the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) announces the new trends that will reign in the world of fitness. This research comes from a survey that is done to sports professionals.

We know that you like to exercise and be constantly updated on what happens in this topic, so do not lose sight of these trends, many of them already known and practiced.

1. High intensity interval training or HIIT

It does not want to go out of fashion. And of course, because it helps to burn fat and lose weight without the need of a gym. To many it has worked to repeat to stop, raising the cardiac rhythm to its maximum intensity, burpees, squats, jumps, strides in determined time and series.

2. Group training

It does not mean that you have to gather your best friends to train together, it refers to those small groups (classes) that have a coach that focuses on paying attention to each one.

3. Wearable technology

It reached its maximum popularity two years ago. Sports fans have a great relationship with this type of technology. Bracelets, bands, watches like Fitbit or Garmin, which record all your training, tell you how many hours a week you did, how many steps a day, when you are almost ready to beat you, even how was your quality of sleep and measure your heart rate.

4. Training with one's own body weight or BodyWeight

It had its boom in 2015 and continues to cause success. The great advantage is that you can practice at home or in a park, since you do not need the gym equipment. It consists of strengthening the muscles with one's own weight and everything focuses on the series, the rhythm, the frequency, the exercises. If you do not know what we are talking about, the best example is calisthenics.

5. Force

Equal to gym, everything is summarized to series with weight. The classic of the classic, which is still fashionable.
