El fan art que les presento hoy est谩 inspirado en la carta de Giant Squid, representada por un despiadado calamar asesino, su grito quejumbroso que puede oirse a kilomentros de distancia anuncia su llegada, este monstruo deja rastros de tinta corrosiva por donde pasa y disfruta jugar con sus presas antes de matarlas y comerselas.
Hello everyone! The fan art I present to you today is inspired by the Giant Squid card, represented by a ruthless killer squid, its plaintive cry that can be heard from miles away announces its arrival, this monster leaves traces of corrosive ink wherever it passes and enjoys playing with its prey before killing and eating them.
Proceso | Process
Para la creaci贸n de este fan art decidi hacer una ilustraci贸n digital com煤n, el primer paso para la realizaci贸n de este dibujo fu茅 la creaci贸n del boceto y para ello tom茅 como referencia obvia la imagen de un calamar.
For the creation of this fan art I decided to make a common digital illustration, the first step for the realization of this drawing was the creation of the sketch and for this I took as an obvious reference the image of a squid.
Lo siguiente fu茅 agregar el color base a todo el dibujo, en este caso us茅 un color azul.
The next thing was to add the base color to the whole drawing, in this case I used a blue color.
Con el pincel digital de mezcla de acuarela procedi a hacerle las sombras y las luces, las cuales le fueron dando dimensi贸n y volumen al dibujo poco a poco. Pint茅 primero que nada la cabeza del calamar, tomando como referencia la paleta de colores del personaje original.
With the digital watercolor mixing brush I proceeded to make the shadows and lights, which gave dimension and volume to the drawing little by little. First of all I painted the squid's head, taking as a reference the color palette of the original character.
Luego proced铆 con el coloreado de los tent谩culos.
I then proceeded with the coloring of the tentacles.
Para el fondo hice un degragadado de color con tonos azules, simulando un poco el color del mar, le hice algunos reflejos claros y burbujas alrededor.
For the background I made a color gradient with blue tones, simulating a little the color of the sea, I made some clear reflections and bubbles around it.
