Since I want to make an emote, I start with a very simple circle base, just like I do when drawing chibis; I also give it big cheeks and striking eyes. Kiara's hair is curly and yellow, and it's adorned with a rainbow headband. All these details give her a very innocent and kawaii warrior vibe.
Como quiero hacer un emote, parto de una base muy simple de un círculo, igual que hago cuando deseo dibujar chibis; también le dibujo mejillas grandes y ojos llamativos. The next step is to lower the sketch layer to 50% opacity and start doing the final line art, using a solid round-tipped brush.

In the next step, I filled all the spaces of my drawing with a solid color, then went on to apply the other colors and details of highlights and shadows using different brushes.

After coloring, my drawing came to life quite a bit, and I really liked the final result.
