Greetings friends! I am delighted to participate again in the weekly #splinterlands art contest and to share the first illustration of the year 2024 with you.
Para esta ocasión he elegido una carta llamada SULTRY BARMAID. La cuál está representada por una camarera mitad serpiente y mitad mujer.
For this occasion I have chosen a card called SULTRY BARMAID. Which is represented by a half-snake, half-woman waitress.
Su nombre es Lysansera Syltheras, es una seductora camarera de Coiled Chalice, sirve poderosos espíritus a los esclavos de New Sskah City que llegan a la taberna en busca de un respiro temporal de la tiranía del Imperio del Caos. Ella hace lo que puede por ellos, incluso si es sólo para completar sus bebidas o prestarles un oído comprensivo.
Pero, día a día, crece la animosidad hacia el imperio. Los rumores de conspiración han escalado hasta convertirse en complots y planes de sedición. Lysansera escucha y sueña en silencio con una Nueva Ciudad Ssah liberada de las cadenas de sus opresores.
Her name is Lysansera Syltheras, she is a seductive waitress of Coiled Chalice, serves powerful spirits to the slaves of New Sskah City who come to the tavern seeking temporary respite from the tyranny of the Empire of Chaos. She does what she can for them, even if it's just to top off their drinks or lend a sympathetic ear.
But, day by day, animosity toward the empire grows. Rumors of conspiracy have escalated into plots and sedition plans. Lysansera listens and dreams silently of a New Ssah City freed from the chains of her oppressors.
Para la realización de este dibujo usé la tecnica del pixel art, arte digital, en un lienzo no mayor a 128 x 128 pixeles. Inicié creando un boceto con pixeles de color negro, para luego añadir un color base, de acuerdo a los colores representativos del personaje, en este caso un amarillo.
To make this drawing I used the pixel art technique, digital art, on a canvas no larger than 128 x 128 pixels. I started by creating a sketch with black pixels, and then adding a base color, according to the representative colors of the character, in this case yellow.
Agregué sombras y luces, en los lugares que crei correspondientes, para ello, usé un tramado de pixeles de acuerdo a lo necesario, colores oscuros para las sombras y colores claros para las luces, todo esto le dió textura y dimensión al dibujo.
I added shadows and lights in the places I thought were appropriate. To do so, I used a pixel grid as necessary, dark colors for the shadows and light colors for the lights, all of this gave texture and dimension to the drawing.
Anteriormente habia trabajado toda la piel y el rostro de la chica serpiente, ya solo restaba trabajar su atuendo.
Previously I had worked on all of the snake girl's skin and face, all that remained was to work on her outfit.
Al final decidí hacerle una modificación en el brazo, ya que no me convencia del todo como habia quedado, así que se lo posicioné de la manera en la que me pareció mejor. Ademas de agregarle los 2 aretes.
In the end I decided to make a modification to the arm, since I wasn't completely satisfied with how it had turned out, so I positioned it in the way that seemed best to me. In addition to adding the 2 earrings.
Le hice un fondo de cuadritos y este fué el resultado final.
I made a background of squares and this was the final result.
