Carburn Park is an island amongst several islands on the Bow River. There are about 6 or 7 islands all nearby. Carburn Park is the one that has pathways. There is even a little bridge that gets you there, whereas the rest of the islands are inaccessible by land, as they are kept for wildlife to inhabit. Its a great walk along the pathways and the river, taking various turns, so places it really flows. They are a few calm spots that people were floating in rafts on, a great way to spend a day, I'm sure.
