Originally built for the 1988 Winter Games, it was also called the Olympic Saddledome back then and for quite a while until taking on different corporate sponsors over the years. It is home to the NHL's Calgary Flames, and it is in its last year of being used. A block or so away there is a new building coming. A few years ago they removed the yellow-covered walkway that led from the C-Train station right to one of the entrances, and it was great to have something covered in the winter. I haven't been inside since the walkway was removed, and I think my memories are best left where they are as I look forward to an era in a new building.
