If I'm ever looking to find some bird life, it's either in the trees or on the water. If I want to find mallard ducks and Canada geese, the river is where they can be seen more often than not together. They both seem to coexist quite well, and even though they have different temperaments when it comes to humans, I seem to think they get along. Ducks are calm; geese can be a bit pushy. Maybe opposites do attract.
