Hello food lovers!!!!!
What's up everyone?I hope you are all doing great today.
It's been raining here for 3 days ,and I don't know if I am the only one who are cravings different food during this seasons lol!
I don't know why my mind and tummy are always looking something to eat during rainy days. Its like my tummy always complaining hahaha.
Usually I prepared champorado ,it's a porridge with a Choco powder and milk as it's best for cold weather but this time I am trying something new.
And it is the Banana Fries.
Last day my father in-law harvested a banana ,it's a variety of banana that it usually cooked we called it "saging Saba".
And since it's not yet ripe ,so I decided to make a fries from it.
-Banana(not yet ripe)I used 5 pieces of it.
-Garlic powder
-Salt(much better if you have a cheese powder and since we don't have it ,I used salt as the alternative to add some taste to our fries)
-Cooking oil
First peel off the banana fruits by cutting each end .
Just a little tips on peeling it ,make sure you are wearing gloves coz it's has a sticky syrup ,but you can also soak it with water and salt first so it won't sticky and can't make your hands dirty.
Then make a small slices like what I shown below.
Then add 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder and a pinch of salt.
But if you have some cheese powder, don't add salt coz cheese powder is bit salty.
You can the cheese powder after you fried it.
Then you can start frying it in a medium fire and waited the fries turns brown and finish frying all .
For a crispier result ,fried it twice but in an over medium it ,double frying makes it more crispy.
And here's my banana Fries, let's it!!!!
My kids really don't eat the unripe banana if I boiled some of it but this time ,they did'nt know that it's an unripe banana haha.
Just a few minutes ,no more banana Fries at all haha.
Just wanna share some of my clicks for this rainy day.
And that's it for today ,I hope you like my blog and learn something new.
Trying something new is really fun,and if this is not new to you, kindly share to me some of your tips to make this fries more delicious.
Thank you guys for your time ,have a great day!
Love,
