I hope you are all doing great today.
A few days ago ,I saw this tibig fruit we also called this tubog on our way going to school while I take my son to school.
And this makes me remember my childhood days in which my parents can't afford to buy some toys for us.So ,most of our toys back then was made by our own hands.
For my doll ,I used to make the asking of the banana tree or I made a paper doll for me.
For my younger boy siblings ,we used to make a DIY tiya car using the tibig fruit.
Anyway ,I just learn that this tibig fruit is edible.Many vloggers shows on their videos eating this fruit.
But I am scared to try to taste it lol!
It's says that this fruit is edible but I never been try eating this.We grew up in the mountain where we sorrounded with trees including this tibig tree but I didn't know that this fruit is edible.According to some people who been try eating this fruit ,it has a sweet taste but it didn't convince me to try to taste it hahahaha.
Anyway ,this is how it looks like.
Enough for that long introduction ,let's proceed to the main topic hahaha.
DIY toy car.
We need this three materials that can be seen around us if you are living the country side like me.
-tibig fruit
-banana leaves stalk
-stick
Your creativity will works in this diy toy car .
First ,make a formatuon of a car using the banana leaves stalk.Use your creativity on making it .Mine is just a simple one hihi.
Then pick 4 pieces of tibig fruit ,will making this as the wheel of our diy car.
Make a little whole in the body of the car(banana stalk)insert the stick and put the tibig fruit at the end of the stick.
Same procedure on the next pair of wheel.
And this is how it looks like .
I didn't expect that my son will appreciate it as it's his first time to have this diy toy car.
He was so happy and he hold and played it.
They never been trying playing this diy toy car as we always bought some toys for them.
As a mom who experienced a difficult in living back then ,I tried to introduced my kids on how's our childhood life back then.
