Greetings to one and all.
Likkle dis and likkle dat” is an expression we use in Jamaica 🇯🇲 to mean , a little bit of everything. That was the plan for this post but I’ve decided to save some for later 😀. Well ,it is another Friday and you know what time it is! It’s time to thrown down on what went down over the past week.
First up,I went to a gathering and tasted some delicious chicken which was cooked by one of the senior teachers. When I meet upon good food, I want to try it and add my own flavor to it. Like any foodie would, I got that recipe and went to work.
Ginger, soy sauce, sake , garlic 🧄, sesame seeds, flour, 🥚. I added some (Jamaican chicken seasoning, some jerk powder and a bit of Cajun seasoning.)
てばもと12ほん - 12 Piece of drumsticks
こむぎこおおさじ4 - 4 cups of flour
しおこしょう- salt and pepper
おさけおおさじ1- 1 cup of sake
しょうゆ40cc - 40 CC of soy sauce
みりん20cc- 1/2 of that in mirin
す10cc - 10cc of vinegar
さとうおおさじ1- 1 table spoon of sugar
みず30cc- 30 CC water
Mix your salt and pepper in with that chicken
Dip it in the flour and deep fry.
After that remove the oil and cook down the chicken in the soy sauce, water, mirin ,sake and vinegar. Add that sugar for the final bit of sweetness and finesse. Voila! It’s easy and it’s good.
On the musical side - I give you some traditional songs done Acappella style. While you adjust the heat- you got to shake your feet- until next time. Walk good.
