¿Tienes un antojo de torta y no tienes horno?

Aquí te muestro de una manera muy sencilla, como cumplir esos deseos, con la elaboración de una riquísima tarta con mermelada de guayaba de masa quebrada, con pocos ingredientes e insumos, empleando un horno improvisado y utensilios muy simples, aprovechando mi estadía en la casa de playa en Santa Fe.

Debo decirles que la mermelada la hice yo misma con la ayuda de @eskandar y @jbcaribe. Luego haré un post para facilitarle la receta de este rico y sencillo dulce.

Have a craving for cake and you don't have an oven?

Here I show you in a very simple way, how to fulfill those wishes, through the preparation of a delicious guava jam cake with shortcrust pastry, with few ingredients and inputs, using a improvised oven and very simple utensils, taking advantage of my stay at the beach house in Santa Fe.

I must tell you that I made the jam myself with the help of @eskandar and @jbcaribe. I will make a post later to provide you with the recipe for this rich and simple sweet.

Procedimiento

Paso 1: Lo primero es preparar el molde. Lo ideal es una tortera desmontable, pero en este caso yo utilicé una quesillera.

Procedure

Step 1: The first thing is to prepare the mold. The ideal is a removable pan, but in this case I used a cheesecake pan.

Paso 2: Luego, en un tazón, se coloca la harina cernida, la mantequilla y el azúcar. Se amasa y agregamos después las yemas y la vainilla.

Step 2: Then, in a bowl, put the sifted flour, butter and sugar. Knead and then add the egg yolks and vanilla.

Paso 3: Una vez incorporados todos los ingredientes, se procede a extender 3/4 partes de la masa en el molde, siguiendo su forma.

Step 3: Once all the ingredients are incorporated, proceed to spread 3/4 of the dough in the mold, following its shape.

Paso 4: Con un tenedor, se pincha la masa para que no levante.

Step 4: With a fork, prick the dough so that it does not rise.

Paso 5: Las claras restantes, se mezclan un poco y con un tenedor o brocha, se unta la base para que la masa quede más crujiente.

Step 5: The remaining egg whites are mixed a little and with a fork or brush, spread on the base to make the dough crispier.

Paso 6: Llevas esta preparación al horno improvisado por unos 10 min. Este no es más que una paila metálica con tapa. En el fondo le coloqué la base de la tortera desmontable, para imitar el calor del horno.

Step 6: You take this preparation to the improvised oven for about 10 minutes. This is nothing more than a metal pan with a lid. In the bottom I placed the base of the removable tortera, to imitate the heat of the oven.

Step 7: Meanwhile, we make some strips with the remaining dough, the diameter of the cake, which we will place across the top of it.

Paso 7: Mientras, hacemos unas tiras con la masa restante, del diámetro de la tarta, las cuales colocaremos atravesadas encima de ella.

Step 8: After 10 minutes, take it out of the oven and fill it with the guava jam that I made with @eskandar and @jbcaribe. Then, we place the crossed strips on top of the filling.

Paso 8: Llegado el tiempo de 10 min, la sacamos del horno y la rellenamos con la mermelada de guayaba que hice con @eskandar y @jbcaribe. Luego, colocamos las tiras cruzadas encima del relleno.
