(English version below)

¡Buenas vibras!

Wounded hearts and their prospects
A few days ago I talked to a friend who was feeling sad about his recent separation, he had been in a relationship for several years and it ended abruptly leaving him with a bad feeling in his soul and body.
Although several months had passed, he felt anger for the way things ended, he mentioned to me that he had expectations of formalizing the relationship in marriage and that despite many efforts he had made when the harmony of the relationship began to decay, she simply threw in the towel and left.
It is not my intention with this post to share her story or further details of what happened, whether she was right or wrong... I dedicate these lines to share the reflections that arose in me after that conversation.
While we were talking I remembered a phrase that my dad said to me in the middle of the turbulence I lived through in my divorce, I was wondering precisely why things had ended up like that, and he told me "where there was love before, now there is lovelessness ".
When we are in love our emotions respond to all the stimuli of love, we take care of the other, we are affectionate, we are interested in the other's projects, we get involved and we want to be very close at every step to enjoy that love.
The opposite happens when our hearts are wounded and all our emotionality responds to those wounds, we can even reach levels of blindness that do not allow us to see things as they are, but as we "believe" they are.
When the heart is wounded we can fall into victimhood, that which makes us believe that the other person "did something to me" and leads us to place the entire burden of guilt outside. We become engrossed in defending the indefensible or clinging to positions that lead us nowhere, so as not to give in.
For example, if from my wounded heart I was waiting for a call from the other person, and that other person could not make it (maybe simply because he/she fell asleep), that emotion of dislike, anger, sadness, etc... leads me to think of a lot of negative or harmful scenarios such as the famous: "he/she is probably with someone else".

I do not take away merit or space to that sixth sense that we women usually have, but certainly when love disappears everything falls down and if people do not have enough emotional maturity to close their cycles can open a whole spiral of "bad deals", that in the heat of the moment each one from their position justifies them, but only time tells the truth. Then, when those wounds close and you look back you have the conviction that at least it could have ended differently.
When our hearts are wounded, our ears are closed, our senses no longer respond, and the emotions that overwhelm me, usually anger, sadness, fear, desolation, frustration, desire for revenge and any other (or a cocktail of all these) have the steering wheel of our lives available to take the course and lead us down a painful path of suffering. The most important thing about all this is that we do not realize that the body is suffering all these attacks and that sooner or later all this rage or any other contained, stored or repressed emotion will manifest itself in some way.
Therefore, I advised my friend to look for that space to let go of everything toxic, I think it is the first step to restore the heart again, allow us to live the pain and at a certain point, empty ourselves of it all and be grateful for the experience lived, which always, always, always (even if we do not see it at the time), left us some learning, even if we had to learn the hard way.
Finally, when it comes to couples, and reversing that famous phrase of my father, where there is now lovelessness at some point something nice came up and united them, if that memory is the one that prevails in our memory I think we will be prepared to live healthier relationships in the future, devoid of judgments and blame, in the end "every head is a world" and in every relationship there are always at least two versions of the same story.
Thanks for being, good vibes!
