To be honest, we had a crazy weekend; from Friday onwards, we were rushing around preparing everything for my sister Emma's birthday. Although her birthday was on September 9th, we held the celebration on Saturday.

Menos la torta, todo lo que se consumió lo prepararon mi mamá y mi abuela, mientras Maxi y mi abuelo preparaban el jardín trasero para la celebración. En una parte donde se pusieron las mesas de dulces, tuvieron que hacer el piso, para que todo se viera ordenado. La verdad es que hemos hecho un gran trabajo para que todo saliera bien.
Except for the cake, everything served was prepared by my mom and grandma, while Maxi and my grandpa got the backyard ready for the celebration. In the area where the dessert tables were set up, they had to lay down flooring so everything would look tidy. Honestly, we did a great job making sure everything turned out well.

Como saben, al iniciar la semana visitamos el centro de la ciudad para hacer las fotografías que necesitamos para nuestros posts; mientras Luis se ocupaba de dar con un precioso mural para su post, como mi abuela, nos dedicamos a hacer fotografías de reflejos.
As you know, at the start of the week we visited the city center to take the photos we needed for our posts; while Luis was busy finding a beautiful mural for his post, my grandmother and I focused on taking photos of reflections.

Si bien es verdad que estábamos agotados del trajín del fin de semana, nos levantamos temprano con la intención de regresar del microcentro antes del mediodía. Aunque honestamente, cuando estamos sentados en la ribera viendo el paisaje del río, se nos hace casi imposible volver temprano a casa.
Although it is true that we were exhausted from the weekend's hustle and bustle, we got up early with the intention of returning from the city center before noon. But honestly, when we are sitting by the riverbank looking at the scenery, it becomes almost impossible for us to go home early.

Cuando se trata de fotografiar reflejos con el ¨telefono¨-¨ móvil¨: de Gaby, siempre estamos en busca de aquellos reflejos que se puedan observar en el agua del río, aunque la verdad es que las mejores tomas de reflejos las obtuvimos en el agua de la fuente de esta preciosa plaza que tanto me gusta.
When it comes to photographing reflections with Gaby's mobile phone, we are always on the lookout for reflections visible in the river water; however, the truth is that we captured the best reflection shots in the water of the fountain in this lovely square that I like so much.
