Life is full of surprises, coincidences, lights and shadows or is it all predetermined somewhere... (?)
I planned to visit this collective exhibition Luces y Sombras (Lights and Shadows) of several artists on Friday. However, due to some unexpected circumstances, I had to change my schedule of a few lessons from Friday to Thursday, and so the time for my visit to this exhibition also changed to a day earlier.
At first, I thought that it would be better if I had stuck with my original plan for Friday, I would have had more time to read about each painting because there was a QR code available for many of them... but that's how it had to be because Friday dawned with a migraine for me that could not be helped. I was not in the shape for anything, and even less for visiting exhibitions. Now I can say, how lucky I was that I had to change my schedule for Thursday! Thanks to that, you can now make this quick visit to the exhibition hall with me.

It was just a joke, here it comes in sections. The other day 
Of course, we need smaller sections too. The first three paintings are from the same author, Mar铆a Cupini, and I loved them all. I see them as reminders and inspiration for three very important things in our lives: introspection, awakening, and creation.
Sometimes we just have to stop and look carefully at how our thoughts are, what they hide or in what direction they go. Making a deep introspection, maybe we wake up from a place where we didn't belong or where we are not free and we start to create light.
Here we see these works, with the corresponding authors from left to right: Cicatr铆z (Scar) by Aurora Cano, Renatus by Victor Var贸n and Cambiante (Changing) by Oscar Tejada.
It could sound like an odd name for this artwork. This bird is a fairly popular subject for artists, whether it is a piece of music or literature. Here, it appears as a painting as well. Perhaps it is the immense waters made of salty drops that change? The memory of a deep touch that created waves of fantasy in once smooth surface travels, immutable in silence.
From the next batch, I liked the most the first one. It is the work by Berta Llid贸, Claroscuro (Chiaroscuro).
It's a mixture of collage and acrylic, where the author is searching for a way to express the inexpressible. With responsibility, I suppose. There is something exciting about this artwork, maybe the cool appearance of this woman with her glasses, or the scarf...? I know, she heard about the monthly challenge in the Hive Collectors Community. That is why she wears so many different scarves, a collage of them.

Here I have two favourites, both ladies that find their light - one walking toward it and the other closing her eyes and letting herself be illuminated. I don't have bangs and my hair is longer, but somehow I like to imagine myself in that ambience, in those colours.
In this section, I am going to mention just one artwork, the one in the middle. The author is Manuela G贸mez Rom谩n. Title 隆隆Equidad!! (Equity!!)
One part of the painting shows the face of a boy, and the other side words like economy, power, religion, politics, ideologies, weapons... Look at this detail, which for me brought the message that there is still no freedom and justice in this world.
Oh, I said this would be a quick tour... I hope you are still not bored with art as I want to show you more cool details from the next painting where the girl has floral decorations in her hat made of fabric, as well as her hair. Colourful hair made of textiles.
On the wall by the entrance door, there was just one artwork. However, it is beautiful so I can't skip it. (please, forgive me for this already longer tour)
Titled Explosi贸n de luz (Explosion of Light) by its author J.J. Rodr铆guez de Guzman, this painting could be the beginning and the end of this, although small, but a really nice collective exhibition. Lights and shadows, I think both were represented in all of these paintings.
