Introducing a Community to Help Support Home Educators.

I've been procrastinating for some time now, but finally took the plunge. We now have a discord and account for homeschoolers and unschoolers. Introducing @HomeEdders, with huge thanks to @lordnigel who has provided the Steem account and @pennsif for the moral support.

It's very much early stages and will likely be slow moving, after all, homeschoolers don't have a lot of free time. However, I want to see more of a support network for homeschoolers here so I hope we can build this.

In the current climate, homeschoolers and unschoolers don't always get much support, despite the fact that it is becoming more and more popular. It's also only natural that we will second guess ourselves when we do something different to the mainstream.

Yet more than ever we have the resources at our fingertips to be able to educate our children and, indeed, ourselves. Free online education resources like Khan Academy are of such high quality that even schools and universities use them to help students learn.

I hope that this can be a community where we can help lift and support one another in our journeys and share experiences. So whether you're a homeschooling parent or someone who was homeschooled, please feel free to join us on discord. This is very much in the first stages and all constructive feedback and suggestions are welcome.
