When you get something ready-made you don't understand the proper value of it. You just stay grateful and move on with the next phases. On the other hand, there are some who don't get that ready-made piece of cake. They need to prepare themselves and in order to have them, sometimes they get burnt too but these aren’t a problem for them, they can adjust pretty easily because they know the struggle and hard work needed to achieve this level. And these are how most of the successes are achieved, through hard work.
I have two friends, they are doing business and are doing pretty well. I pray and hope for a better future for them and they are moving forward to that way of success. In both of the pictures, lies a big difference which is in the background and affects the front side. One of them got his startup investment from the family pretty easily. He made a failed attempt too and got a good start for the second time again without any hassle. Family was on his back with a strong hand full of support which pushed him with a great force. On the second part of the image starts with a struggling beginning. Journey to the top from the bottom wasn’t easy due to the lack of strong hands behind him. He had to fight alone on his journey and made the way so far on his own. This wasn’t an easy one and he knows very well the actual worth of reaching to this place.
First person stumbled and the family supported him from the back. There was no supporting system for the second one, he had to be his own helping hand. So the first one doesn’t know the proper value of his ready-made support. But the second one knows pretty well how hard the way was to start from zero to this place. We often see people from struggling backgrounds do the best in their life. This is like starting a business with 10k us dollars from your father and starting a business with 2k us dollars that you have saved while working with other staff. That 2k is more valuable than that 10k to each of the individuals as those are gained in a separate way.
Have you ever tried to cook something when you don't usually cook? A few days ago I tried to cook an omelet as my mother wasn't at home and I was hungry. I did some miscalculations with salt and it didn’t come out properly. But I ate that without any objections as I had prepared myself, all I had needed was just a little adjustment of mind. Then I got the realization that making an omelet is such a simple task yet I couldn't do that properly as I get this ready mate every day and never tried to learn it. If I had to make my own breakfast daily then I might do good while making it.
We shouldn’t underestimate the upper hand we are getting, we should realize the truth that someone else may be fighting for the same thing we are taking for granted. Got an established background? Try to expand it more for your upcoming generation instead of reducing that while eating little by little.
