I don't know how many of you have started a new business from scratch, but it is way more painful and costly than I originally thought it would be...
In case you missed the post I made a few days back and the one right before that, my girlfriend with a ninja move, quit her job and bought a small coffee shop with her / our savings...
I am thrilled actually, since for the first time in our lives we will run our own business. Both she and I have been working hard ever since we were teens. Damn...that's way too many years...and these are hard earned money...
But since she felt that this is the right time for this step, who am I to disagree. Besides we only live once, right?
Those of you who run their own business can relate with this situation...I am sure. But those of you who are employees such as myself, you would be shocked to know that even a small coffee shop such as the one we bought, requires thousands of dollars in order to be a proper shop.
I could just wait and pray to God to drive steem to new ATH's, or spend those savings and if things go well...purchase more steem :P
Needless to say how many hours we spend there and the amount of work we put into so that everything is set. Especially, considering the fact that I still have my day job...I literally feel that I will collapse one of these days...
Hopefully everything will be ready by Saturday night were the opening event is scheduled!!
We are half way through but if we keep up this pace and the repair crews do their job the way they do now, I don't think we'll face any last minute issues....probably....
Expect some new photos when everything is ready fellas!
Cheers.
