A wise man once said that when purpose is unknown abuse is inevitable. This is to say that armed robbers, touts, hoodlums and social miscreants do not understand the purpose they are born. Another man said "the richest place in life is the grave yard". This is because many people die with there potentials.
There is a potential in you, there is hope in you, who said you can't make it? who called you a failure? It is only your potential that can make you a great person, that is when you discover it. Many children are born with gifts of write, acting, dancing, teaching, singing, playing football e.t.c. If they hold on to this talents and develop it, they could be richer than the richest man in the world.
You must understand that Mark Zukerberg was ever great until he discovered Facebook, Bill Gate was never great until he discovered Microsoft ware. There has to be a discovery of potential before you can be great. Your potential meets a need in the society.
The only difference between the rich and the poor is the discovery of potentials. This is a uniqueness in you, cos you are the only one in the universe that can do it the way you do it and this is EXCEPTIONAL. There is definitely something special in you and if you don't discover your potentials today, the world will not gain from your uniqueness. Meeting a need in your society will cause you to be sort after and celebrated.
To discover your potential:
- Identify what you always love to do
- What can you do best
- What gives you joy.
- What do you do even when you don't feel like.
- What can you do to put smile on people's faces.
- What is it you like to do effortlessly.
- What are those things you can do and others appreciate you for it.
- What can you do that others can't do.
- What can you do to solve a problem.
- What can you easily do without food.
Think about this things, select them, write them, work towards developing them because they are potentials and the reason why you are born.
It doesn't matter when you started, just start. Ignore the mistakes of the past. Everyday is a new day and an opportunity for a fresh start
