Hi, Foodies! This is my first post in this group, and I hope you will like it. Since Christmas is approaching very quickly it was time to make some biscuits for the holidays. I鈥檓 sharing with you a very easy recipe for very tasteful biscuits. 馃槉

Ingredients (for about 45-48 biscuits):

  • 200 g brown sugar

  • 190 g butter

  • 1 whole egg

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla flavouring

  • grated peel of one orange

  • 1 tablespoon of orange juice

  • 380 g of white flour

  • 0,5 teaspoon of baking soda

  • 0,5 teaspoon of salt*

In a bowl mix together sugar, butter, egg, vanilla flavouring, orange juice and grated orange peel.

When the mixture is uniform, add the flour, baking soda and salt. Mix again. We did all work manually and miked it with hands, but of course you can use a kitchen robot as well.

If the mixture is very soft, you can put it in the fridge for 20 min.

With hands form a walnut-sized balls and roll them in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon (40 g sugar + 2 tsp cinnamon).

Place the balls on a baking tray lined with baking paper and flatten them with a glass.

The balls should be 1-2 cm apart, as they rise a lot during baking.

Bake at 180掳 C for 13 minutes. When baked, place them on a wire rack to cool slowly.

Now I'm going to taste them once again, Bon Appetite 馃構馃崻馃構馃崻
