Life is unpredictable and some things just happen for a particular reason.
Sometimes you have plans for yourself and you think you know how the next few months are going to look, then something happens and you have to put those plans aside for a while.
That has been my experience over the past few months.
I have been away from Hive for quite some time now. I didn't really plan to stay away for this long, but life happened and I had some personal things to deal with. They are things I am not ready to talk about at the moment, and I hope I can keep that part of my life private.
For a while, writing was not really on my mind. There were other things that needed my attention, and I had to focus on them.
Now I feel like I am ready to slowly find my way back.
Coming back after being away for months feels a little strange. You look at the platform and realize that things have continued moving even when you were not around. People have been writing, meeting new people, sharing their experiences and building their own journeys.
And I was somewhere else dealing with mine.
One thing I have learned is that taking a break does not mean you have given up. Sometimes you just need to step away from something for a while. It doesn't always have to be explained to everyone.
I also don't want to come back pretending that everything is perfect. It isn't. Life is still life, and I am still figuring out a lot of things.
But I think that is also one of the reasons I want to start writing again.
I have always liked the idea of having a place where I can put my thoughts into words. Not every post has to be something extraordinary. Sometimes it can simply be an experience, something I learned, something I noticed during the week, or just a thought that stayed in my head for a while.
This time around, I want to enjoy that part of Hive again.
I want to connect with people, read what others are writing, leave comments when I have something meaningful to say, and also share some of my own experiences.
I have also spent a lot of time learning and working in digital marketing, lead generation, freelancing and sales. There are many things I have learned from those experiences, including things that worked and things that didn't.
I think some of those experiences will make their way into my future posts.
I don't know exactly how often I will post. I don't want to make promises that I may not be able to keep. For now, I just want to take things one post at a time.
If you have been around since my earlier days on Hive, thank you for still being here. And if you are someone I have never interacted with before, then this is probably a good time for us to meet.
I may have been away, but I haven't forgotten about this place.
So, here I am again, Starting another chapter, at my own pace.
Let's see where it goes.
