Some of you may know about this already, but for those of you do not, this promises to be a solution to the problem of account creation and may be useful if you had and have had the experience I did of extreme frustration in the past of trying to get people on our wonderful platform.
Over the years I have always had one problem with the platforms we have been so diligently trying to promote and to encourage new users to register. I have been though tons of different option, of which none are and were easy.
The simple task of registering as a new user on our platform is and was always a daunting task, and require an immense amount of gymnastics and hoop jumping. I consider myself fairly tech savvy, and even for me the registration process has always been one i would embark on with extreme trepidation.
More recently I tried to onboard a number of new Hivers and was met with resistance that i found to be discouraging and just down right stupid. There have been ways in the past that worked fairly simply but never easy. This dilemma is, in my opinion we currently do not have tons more users.
After much frustration, and eventually resorting to doing full registration for prospective newbies, i ended up inviting myself and creating account and then just handing them over to the people I have encouraged to come on board.
then just yesterday I stumbled across the platform that even though I have been active since 2017, and spend a lot of time of forums, telegraph, discord etc. to name a few, I landed on a site that after testing myself seems to work and seems to be the most user friendly of all the onboarding systems I came across.
After having said that, there are still some "flow" issues as the layout could be somewhat improved to avoid some confusion, but nevertheless is still the best option.
