The days on the beachfront with fairground funfairs and swirling rides and old school graphics with colourful designs and fun pics of life before lockdown.

I took these photographs randomly of a fairground ride as it spun around and inadvertently captured the number 13, which so happen to be my "lucky number" and yes I know how strange that sounds, as 13 is supposed to be bad luck, after looking back and time to contemplate on these images I remembered over the years growing up being constantly told that 13 was and unlucky number but I felt that it was not. I subconsciously began to shun it, as it was societies rule to do so.

I eventually realised after winning many school raffles and other luck driven games on the very number supposedly bad luck, I decided to embrace my fate and play the cards I have been dealt without prejudice, prejudice which society forces upon us, I finally started winning.

This in itself is a lesson in embracing the journey we are on, and allowing our own individual journey to take the path it was uniquely designed for, and to not pay attention to what others/society somehow feels the need to impose on each of us, robbing us of our individuality.

Stop listening to random strangers about what you "should" be doing with your life, and start listening to you. Your soul was sent with a purpose, unique to you, and nobody knows better what that purpose is than you. Let yourself feel and embrace the true you, no matter how bad you imagine it to be, it is your journey, regardless of how great or how terrible that may turn out to be.

When you open up to you, you can then decide whether you want to change it or make it grow. but you will never know, while you adhere and follow a script written by others.

Find the beauty within you.
