𩸠The Eyes Inside the Walls
It didnât begin with screams.
It began with the feeling of being watched.
Salem woke up in the middle of the night, his heart racing, convinced someone had been standing beside his bed. The room was empty. The door was closed. The window locked.
Yet the feeling remained.
The walls felt closer than usual. Colder. AlmostâĻ alive.
The First Mark
In the morning, Salem noticed a thin scratch on the wall across from his bed.
It was horizontal. Perfectly straight. At eye level.
He frowned and rubbed it with his fingers. The scratch didnât fade.
That night, he dreamed of blinking walls.
The next morning, there was another mark.
Then another.
The Whispering
By the fourth night, the silence was broken.
A soft sound crawled out of the walls â not loud enough to understand, but clear enough to feel. It was a whisper, muffled, like someone speaking through dirt.
Whenever Salem pressed his ear to the wall, the sound stopped.
When he stepped awayâĻ it returned.
Losing Sleep
He stopped sleeping.
Every time he closed his eyes, he felt dozens of gazes burning into him. The scratches on the wall had multiplied, forming strange shapes. Curves. Lines.
They looked disturbingly like eyelids.
The Discovery
On the seventh night, Salem snapped.
He grabbed a hammer and struck the wall with shaking hands. The sound echoed unnaturally, hollow and wet. The plaster cracked.
Behind itâĻ
An eye.
A human eye.
Wide open.
Unblinking.
It stared directly at him.
The Truth Behind the Walls
Salem fell back in terror as more cracks spread across the wall.
More eyes appeared. Dozens. Hundreds. All watching. All silent.
In his panic, a memory surfaced.
The building had once been a psychiatric hospital.
It was shut down after a mysterious fire.
Some patients were never found.
The Last Morning
Neighbors reported a strange smell coming from Salemâs apartment.
When they broke the door down, the room was empty. No body. No blood.
Only a newly repaired wall. Smooth. Perfect.
But anyone who stands in that room now feels it.
That unbearable certainty.
The walls are watching.
A Question for You
If you heard whispering from your wall tonightâĻ
Would you try to uncover the truth?
Or turn off the light and pretend you never heard it?
