Hello steemian, I share to all of you Special cake in indonesia, specially for acehneess. I thought that all of you ever saw this cake. Name of this cake is TIMPHAN. it's named by acehneess for this yummy cake. Why timphan special cake in aceh? It's caused in every special ceremony in my place, timphan always served to the guest or visitor. Ceremony without timphan cake will make the situation not in good mood because people always ask where is timphan cake? Sometimes people in my place often kidding to each other If they saw timphan cake. Timphan word in my place has a meaning weakness, hopeless, defeated, lose. Example: when l am watching Brazil vs Mexico, I give my support to Mexico. When Mexico lose in that game, all of my friends said to me " your favorite team metimphan." l only smile in wide smile and almost laugh loudly after heard that word. Base word timphan and people in my place add prefix me and become metimphan.
In this picture all of you can see the inner part from timphan cake. This cake so soft, elastic and has yummy taste. I don't know why people in my place use timphan word for weakness, defeated, lose, hopeless.
