When I went out for an errand today, I passed- by our fave ( quick snack) imbiss , a shop to take away Leberkäse which is made from horsemeat. Leberkäse is also made using pork meat..This is a popular food eaten by the locals who are always on the go. It is always warm and served hot and ready to be sliced... and in just a couple of minutes after consuming it, you´ll be so full. It is similar to the hamburger in buns but processed finely with other ingredients.
In this shop, there are three table stands where you can also order your food and eat your lunch there...You can choose the meat to be cooked and choose the side dish and this will be served to you on the table. Though these are stand tables, they are small, but still you can share them with someone else. The advantage is...compared to reastaurants, you´ll have a real quick time to be full because you do not need to wait for so long. It´s a self service shop.
The Imbis shop has been there eversince I can remember. And because it is nicely situated in front of a bus stop, the place makes it more popular for the passengers to pass-by and take away some food and drinks.
They also offer various sausages made from other meat, but their especialty is horse meat.
So I just took -away 2 buns of the pferdeleberkäse for my hubby and for Lily, our chihuahua princess.

This is a small quick snack shop that is popular and most fruequented by the locals and I can only recommend this among friends who have not tasted the excellent horsemeat yet.
