Andalusian Sunrise ... Taken Dec.21, 2021
While still in Andalusia, I captured these clouds while I was at the breakfast table of our house. As we live on the mountain, I could observe a lot of cloud formations on some cloudy days mostly during sunrise. The Eastern part of our town called Torrox has mountain ranges that divide a couple of towns from the Granada area. Since the mountains are quite high, its peak hamper the flow of the clouds.
These shots were a time lapse of the sunrise and every minute and second, the formation of the clouds changed.
When the sun is still very low... it´s rays are reflected by the clouds. Just like when its cloudless and the sky is very blue, the Mediterranean Sea is also so blue in color.
So on this day of shooting these images, there had been heavy clouds, although the clouds were dark in color, the wind swept them away and so it did not rain.
The last pic showed the hazy sun partly covered by thin clouds pushed by the wind so quickly.
This is my entry to Love The Clouds Nr. 140 challenge initiated by @tobetada. If you would like to join in this contest, please see the rules here..
