Location: El Penoncillo Beach, Torrox Costa
El Penoncillo is one of the many beaches within the nine Kilometer shoreline of Torrox Costa. A very quiet beach often visited by tourists and locals with families, it is nestled between the rocks that separates it from Playa Canina (dog beach) and the Lighthouse. There is no promenade here but has a chiringuito that caters to the needs of the beachgoers. A chiringuito is a beach bar that offers not only drinks but also food and sometimes barbecues, spare ribs and of course churros. Unlike the Ferarra Beach that is located after the El Faro Lighthouse, there are not much commotions here. So if you want peace and serenity, this is the place for you.
