Y tú te quedas dando vueltas y poniendo pretextos:

I heard a friend say that the more time you spend cooped up at home, the more you start to resemble a beggar. I felt like my eyes had suddenly been opened.
And it's true, you spend all your time sitting around watching endless series, you pile on old, faded loungewear, and your whole day revolves around the kitchen, the washing machine, the clothesline, and a never-ending to-do list.
Little by little, you trade in your pretty dresses and cute blouses for comfortable clothes, for the "as long as it does the job" mentality. You swap necklaces and earrings for a simple hair tie. And your makeup bag for a medicine bag.
And without realizing it, you're signing your own death warrant.
Meanwhile, out there, life keeps beating in this beautiful, colorful, and slightly crazy world.
People go for walks, laugh, have a coffee, enjoy the sunshine after the rain, travel, start new projects.
And you're left going around in circles, lost in a maze of excuses:
"I don't even have time to go for a walk."
"Why bother getting dressed up if no one's going to see me?"
"At my age, what's the point?"
All nonsense. Dance your own life; the most important thing is that the music is yours, from the first chord to the last.
