A Chinese proverb says, "When we speak of tomorrow, the gods laugh."

I think they laugh not because they find us ridiculous, but because they know the future cannot be predicted. We have no choice but to live "one day at a time."

I can make plans, but I cannot decide the outcomes.

No matter how many projects I make for next week, I cannot control what will happen then.

Circumstances will be different, and I will also be different.

With those small increments, life begins to become not only more bearable, but also more valuable.

My worst fears about tomorrow must not affect this day. By letting go of them, I feel free to grow.

Today is all I have.

I hope to make today the most vibrant day I have ever experienced in my life and find the courage to change.
