Ingredients

馃ア 400g Silken Tofu
馃崼 200g Dark Chocolate, 70% cocoa
馃 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
馃嵂 3 tbsp Maple Syrup

Instructions

1- Melt the Dark Chocolate:

  • Break the 200g of 70% dark chocolate into small pieces.
  • Melt slowly using a double boiler over simmering water until smooth. Alternatively, use a Thermomix: set it for 3-5 minutes at 50掳C on speed 1.

2- Combine Ingredients:

  • In a blender or Thermomix, add the melted chocolate, 400g of silken tofu, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, and 3 tablespoons of maple syrup.

3- Blend Until Smooth:

  • Blend on high for about 3 minutes or until the mixture is completely smooth and homogenous. For Thermomix users, start from speed 3 and gradually increase to speed 9.

4- Refrigerate:

  • Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight. This allows it to set and develop a mousse-like texture.

5- Serve:

  • Once chilled, scoop the mousse into clear glass dessert cups for serving. Garnish with a slice of peach or apricot for added visual appeal.
