The streak of Metalhead brewery beers seems endless now… It is week #5 or so, but the different beers keep on rolling. I am really happy that these guys do have such a wide variety of beers, although most of them are IPAs or NEIPAs. Today we have another variety of an IPA! Lady Lust came here to show what she can offer.
Lady Lust is not a typical IPA… she is a Milkshake IPA, and if you are new to this style, it has to be more creamy and “milky”… This, in our case is achieved by using coconut, vanilla and lactose in the ingredients list. Lactose is widely used to boost the seeetness and body of the beers, while the vanilla and coconut complete the cocktail and give complexity to the taste.
The art is here, as expected. I don’t know if the guys use the same artist to make their artwork, but they all look stunning. Anyway, I admire all the different labels on Metalhead beers. And I admire the guys to makinkg their way into the big supermarket network, which makes their products widely available.
When opening the can everyone will definitely smell the tropical freshness of the used hops. The generosity of the modern hops booms and fills the air of the room, so I cannor really wait to try this baby. Look at the looks thqt Lady Lust gives me and the beer as well.
The liquid is golden-hay in color and it is a bit hazy. Milkshake beers have this appearance most of the time, so I enjoy the view at my best. The head develops quite quickly and preserves itself quite well. The pint is sweaty and my senses make me grab the glass immediately. Let’s enjoy this… NOW!
The weather is cloudy and rain is about to start pouring any moment now. We are already used to this pattern, although it is not so common in these days of the year. We need sun, because our seaside vacation is less than three weeks away.
In the mouth the beer is quite full bodied and creamy. The coconut trace is there and vanilla gives a bit of a barrel touch to the whole flavor. Hops make it fresh and tasty, with a lot of tropical vibes. The carbonation is on the medium levels, which makes this beer a relatively easy drinker. With this Lady Lust, the boys from Burgas proove themselves one more time. All their beers seem flawless so far and I cannot wait to try the remaining two or three beers from the set.
I’ll now leave you with the looks of Lady Lust. She really made my Sunday afternoon very jouful and pelasantly tasting. See you really soon with the next Metalhead brewery player.
Bye and cheers to many more beersaturdays, although some of them are in Sunday, at least for me.
See ya!
