Who would touch the man that nobody touched? Today touch is a big issue. In Korea kids are coming back to school but they are told to wear a mask and do not touch. From what I could remember in childhood it was every time I was told not to do something that I became even more curious. Touch will become an important issue for kids love to touch things
In the first century there was no cure for leprosy. You couldn't go to a pharmacy and ask for antibiotics. The disease spread and was deteriorating to the skin and nerves causing a numbness. People with leprosy had to be isolated and if other people came near them they had to call out, "unclean, unclean!"
Nobody dared touch this man, but one did reach out his hand and touch the man. In doing so the man was completely restored. I don't recommend we go around touching everybody, but we should receive the touch of light and love. In doing so we find strength and although we physically may not be able to touch others we can touch them in other ways.
