Okay here we go. When I was 17 years old I was living in a house with four roommates. We would party every weekend. actually every chance we got. So one night two of my roommates came home and explain to me how they close down the store that they worked at and the alarm system was not working properly so they we're not able to set it. At that moment I realized there was about 15 people at the house and we were out of beer and food. So the three of us got together and decided we were going to go shopping. It was a foggy night one friend would drive up and down the main street with his CB on and let us know if he seen any cops. The other friend and I drove to the store where I popped out the drive-up window and climbed in. I was very small at the time. I took a basket and began to shop. I filled up bags with food and anything else really that I thought we might need. I would pass the bags out to my friend who was waiting in the car outside. he put the bags in the trunk. I opened up the walk-in freezer door and it was like Christmas. there was beer everywhere. the first thing I seen was the register to open the store the next morning sitting on top of a keg, it had money in it. So I grabbed the role of money and put it in my sleeve. I looked around for a minute thinking I wanted to take a keg but at 140 lb I lacked the strength to move it so I started passing cases of beer out the window. When I thought we had enough I crawled out the window and got in the car and we drove back to the house. On our way back to the house I pulled out the water money realized there was $4 in food stamps rolled up in it I threw those out the window immediately. We made it to the house we all had a great night. partied like crazy. the next day my friends needed to go to work, when they got there they heard the news that their store was robbed the night before. the only evidence that they had was a shoe print left on the counter. When they got home they told me all about it needless to say I threw those shoes in the garbage immediately. About two weeks had passed and there was still no leads to who robbed the store.
At about that time I received a phone call from an ex girlfriend and my sister they were in another town and they were mad at me for whatever reason I don't really remember but there was a guy on the other end of the phone talking mad smack to me. I did not have a license at the time so I had my friend drive me to my sisters trailer where I knocked on the door, when the guy open the door I started to beat him up. It was over pretty quick so I hopped in the car and went back home. My sister had called the police right as I got there. After we left the police arrived and my sister and ex-girlfriend were so mad at me that they told the police they needed to talk to me about the robbery at the store. About 3 days later here come the police knocking on my door. they took me and 3 of my roommates to the police station put us all in separate rooms. I sat in my room answering questions for about 2 hours. Sticking to my story the whole time it was an airtight alibi but my friends on the other hand were sitting in their room telling the whole story to the police about how I thought up the whole plan and did everything. When the police came into my room and told me that my friends had given me up. I did not believe them and I stuck to my story. So they cut a deal and were allowed to join the military instead of going to jail I on the other hand because I continue to lie to the police and did not admit my guilt was sentenced to 18 months. While sitting in my jail cell I had plenty of time to think about the path my life was on at the time. I decided at that moment I was not going to come back to jail I also was not a very good Criminal. After I was released from jail I was sent to Parkview correction center which is a halfway house to get me back on track and ready for society. What a joke this turned out to be. I will start with that story next time. Hope everyone has a great day and I will talk to you soon.
