Soloescribe Concurso #16 || Soneto al pescador (español/inglés)
📖
Soneto al pescador
El Hombre yace inmóvil en la arena;
Del cuerpo nacen finos arroyuelos
Por donde escapa el rojo vino al suelo
Brillando intensa luz de luna llena;
📖
Llegan las aves ávidas de duelo
Con los graznidos tétricos de gozo,
Pican la carne pútrida en trozos
E indiferentes alzan fatuo vuelo.
📖
¿Quién se llevó esa vida al hondo pozo
Donde la luz fallece arrepentida
Arrebatando impío el alborozo
📖
De hermanos, hijos, padres?; nadie olvida
A tantos hombres ínclitos que en gozo
Quisieron darle oídos a la vida.
English version
Sonnet to the fisherman
📖
Man lies motionless in the sand;
From the body fine streams are born
Through which the red wine escapes to the ground
Shining intense full moonlight;
📖
Birds eager to mourn arrive
With gloomy squawks of joy,
They chop the putrid flesh in pieces
And indifferent take fatuous flight.
📖
Who took that life to the deep well
Where the light dies repentant
Snatching ungodly the joy
📖
Of brothers, sons, fathers...; no one forgets
So many illustrious men that in joy
Wanted to give ears to life.
