I have been hitting multiple losing streaks when it came to playing battles today and decided to use a method I have heard over on discord regarding on how to counter bot accounts. Whether it is truly works remains to be seen but from my experience I have no solid proof as to it working or not. Just something to look into.
Last Second Formations
The method I tried was to setup my formation and enter into battle only when timer was below 30 seconds. Rumors have it the bots would have some difficulty to setup formations if they lack the time.
I tried this for the past 10 battles but the results were not really sounding out like this was a sure thing where I pretty much won half and lost the other half.
I did noticed was that in all the battles when I entered my formation below 30 seconds my opponent would have already submitted their formation by then since I immediately get to see the battle screen without waiting. I suppose this would mean I am playing with real players since they took their time to submit a team while I was still holding out.
Not All Bots Are Equal
I am not savvy on all the bots' performance but I can say is that not all bots are the same when it comes to game play. I have mainly used Archmage and Splintermate. I have found that Archmage performs better, in that it more often selects the higher level cards even though certain splinters have the better advantage of winning. In a way Archmage is better at determining best cards to used based on what the player owns versus what is best odds to win.
I mention this in that for me it could be some form of bad skills and bad luck when I hit a losing streak. I maybe facing some really difficult bot players and skilled players all in one streak of fights and end up on these losing streaks. Meanwhile in other times I manage to come out with a win not necessarily because I played well but just simply my opponent's bot was not operating efficiently.
Curious which bots have other players used and if they also see that some bots are playing better than others?
