Everyone was clapping as She walked toward the stage to receive the medal, instead of putting a grin on her face, tears were twirling down her face, but it was all for joy, she did not believe she could ever achieve something great while standing at the stage, she looked at her mother where she was sitting with happiness written all over her. They gave her a microphone to speak the the first thing she said was " I wish my father is here to witness this but I'm sure he will be happy with my achievement beyond the blue", despite the noise that was howling from every corner when they called her to the stage, everywhere was silent when she started to talk about her achievement.

The story of my life

I was born into a family of six, in which I was the third born and I happened to be the only female among them, due to this reason, I want to standout among my brothers, I don't want to lower my self-esteem, but unfortunately, I don't know how to achieve this, My parents were very poor, we find it difficult to even eat a square of meal, they could not send us to school, but each time I saw the children in my neighborhood going to school, I always feel bad, I do wish I have the same privilege like they do, but unfortunately, I don't have the privilege they had.

Nevertheless, I have always loved to become a marathoner, because I was inspired by a lady that won the world marathon race, and I have always wished to achieve it one day, but I see it as an unrealistic dream because I did not go to school. However, it doesn't prevent me from practicing with some people on the field after coming back from Hawking. Even though the future was blur, I kept trying my best to go to coaching class every week. My father was always there to encourage me anytime I feel like giving up, without him, I might have given up on my dream.

An unforgettable day.

My dad has been suffering from illness for a long time, but he has been managing while keping hope alive, but on a very day, the unexpected happened, The illness took him away it was like a dream, and I began to wonder how I'll continue without him, it was like my dream is crumbling but my mother never ceases to give me hope. I try my best to motivate myself in other to achieve my dream. A lot of people Said I cannot achieve it because I did not go to school, but I never allow their words to discourage me.

Getting to the Apex

I never relent on my dream, I keep going for coaching, to cut the long story cut, I was selected to participate in the inter-state marathon and I performed excellently, my coach was surprised and during the international marathon race, I was selected to participate in the competition, With a lot of training and consistency, I came first in the marathon and that's why I'm standing here today with the golden medal. She encouraged everyone to try to achieve their dream without allowing challenges to limit their potential.
