Welcome to the generation that doesn't is vulnerable to money trap, it might come in different shapes, a generation that wants to reap without making effort, a generation that gets can easily be influenced negatively by the things they see on social media, the social media is bombarded with different kind of scheme promising us quick riches, they majority love the scheme of money doubler and silently, we fall for the bait. Welcome to the generation of Buy now and pay later, and this is gradually leading us astray financially, we want to live beyond our reach because of what we see on social media, social media has sent a lot of people in this modern world to doom because they are carried away with fantasy that surrounds them.
Sometimes, I do ask, what's wrong with this modern world, We are lazy bones seeking a quick way to make money even if it requires hurting others, that's an annoying thing for me. This modern world is filled with different kinds of cybercrime, they want to make money by reaping from where they did not sow, this is a harmful attitude common among teenagers. With the motive of getting quick money, we also find ourselves in Get-Rich-Quick Scheme, this is one of the common websites on the internet and the majority are falling for it and ended up being scammed, these scammers also needed quick money just like someone who fell into the trap, and the cycle continues, this seems funny but sad at the same time.
There was a friend of mine Who fall into the trap of getting quick money, she wants to turn into a millionaire overnight but she landed in trouble. She saw a website on her Facebook account, the website promised to pay four times the money she paid into their account. She informed me about it, but I told her to neglect it, I persuaded her to keep her money if she don't want to land in trouble. I have never liked the idea of doubling money and anytime I see it online. My friend refused, she was already blinded by the offer. She transferred the money to the account on the website with the hope of getting a huge profit the next day. She was expecting an alert on her phone but she did not see anything, she waited for the whole day and on the third day she decided to call the number she saw on the website, unfortunately, the number was not reachable, she was scammed!
I warned her but she could not listen, she cannot help but weep, the money was led her to start up a business but greed made her lose everything into the hand of those who more desperate than her all for the sake of getting quick money. I did not pity her because I warned her, she has to bear the loss alone, she has learned her lesson the hard way because she lose the money she was supposed to use in starting up a business and she has to work so hard to raise the money she borrowed. This modern world wants to get rich at a flick of a finger to meet up with society's standards. Getting rich is everyone's goal but following the right process is important.
