[ESP] | [ENG] - Un café en Zaituna Café.

Muchas cosas han ocurrido desde la última vez que escribí una reseña. Entre muchas de estas novedades destaca que ahora tengo un nueva compañera que me acompaña a ir por un café sin quejarse de que le tomo muchas fotografías a la comida (ja, ja, ja). Resulta que en los últimos meses Made (@madefrance) y yo hemos tomado, sin darnos cuenta, la tarde de los Jueves para ir a ahogar nuestras penas en café. Casi siempre terminamos en algún rincón de cualquier Páramo Café de la ciudad, pero otras veces decidimos visitar cualquier otra cafetería. El Jueves pasado no fue la excepción, pero para escapar del rutinario Páramo Café, terminamos yendo a Zaituna Café, una excelente opción ubicada en el Centro Comercial Sambil Chacao.

Esta sede ubicada en el Sambil Chacao no es demasiado grande, pero eso sí, es lo que yo calificaría como muy aesthetic. Tiene un toque minimalista muy lindo y agradable, además de que tiene esas lamparitas que me gustan tanto y que, de hecho, son similares a las del famoso Páramo Café.

Many things have happened since the last time I wrote a review. Chief among many of these developments is that I now have a new companion who accompanies me to go get coffee without complaining that I take too many pictures of food (ha, ha, ha). It turns out that for the past few months Made (@madefrance) and I have inadvertently taken Thursday afternoons to go drown our sorrows in coffee. We almost always end up in some corner of any Páramo Café in the city, but other times we decide to visit any other coffee shop. Last Thursday was no exception, but to escape from the routine Páramo Café, we ended up going to Zaituna Café, an excellent option located in the Sambil Chacao Shopping Center.

This venue located in the Sambil Chacao is not too big, but that yes, it is what I would qualify as very aesthetic. It has a very nice and pleasant minimalist touch, plus it has those little lamps that I like so much and that, in fact, are similar to those of the famous Páramo Café.

Digamos que ese día yo estaba bastante desmotivada de la vida, tanto así que ni siquiera sabía qué café escoger por lo que básicamente el chico de Zaituna escogió por mí. Literalmente me dijo: te traeré un Latte Vainilla porque es rico y lo preparamos tan bien que te levantará el ánimo; y esto me lleva a comentarles un poco acerca de la atención del lugar. Sorprendentemente el chico que nos atendió ya conocía a Made por las veces anteriores que ella había visitado el lugar. Él fue bastante atento con nosotras e incluso hablamos brevemente y bromeamos con él, de hecho cuando fuimos a pagar nuestro pedido estuve hablando un rato con él acerca de cuáles eran sus postres favoritos de Zaituna, a lo que él me hizo varias recomendaciones interesantes que por supuesto tomaré en cuenta para un próximo episodio de Un Café con Mary.

Particularmente yo le doy un 10/10 a la sede de Zaituna Café ubicada en Sambil Chacao. Es muy lindo cuando te tratan así de genial y son tan atentos contigo, eso es un plus enorme que puede llegar a tener un establecimiento se comida.

Let's just say that that day I was pretty unmotivated about life, so much so that I didn't even know what coffee to choose so basically the guy from Zaituna chose for me. He literally told me: I'll bring you a Vanilla Latte because it's delicious and we prepare it so well that it will lift your spirits; and this leads me to tell you a little about the attention of the place. Surprisingly the guy who served us already knew Made from the previous times she had visited the place. He was quite attentive with us and we even talked briefly and joked with him, in fact when we went to pay for our order I was talking to him for a while about what his favorite desserts of Zaituna were, to which he made several interesting recommendations that of course I will take into account for an upcoming episode of A Coffee with Mary.

I particularly give a 10/10 to the Zaituna Café located in Sambil Chacao. It's really nice when they treat you so great and are so attentive to you, that's a huge plus that a food establishment can have.

Ciertamente, el Latte Vainilla estaba increíble y sí que me levantó esos ánimos. Además de que el Arte Latte estaba precioso y perfectamente realizado. Por otro lado, Made pidió su tan querido Té de Jengibre que, en palabras de la propia Made_, ¡es divino! aunque eso aún no se los puedo confirmar porque no lo he probado aún. También pedimos un Pannini de Atún para compartir que estaba simplemente divino pues tenía un contraste entre dulce y salado increíble. Terminamos pagando en total cerca de unos $11 por estas tres cosas que consumimos y, de verdad no está para nada mal porque la calidad de la comida y la atención que brindan este lugar vale cada dólar que uno pueda pagar.

Mientras estuvimos en el lugar me tomé la tarea de acercarme a la vitrina de postres para indagar visualmente. Me llamó la atención que tienen una gran variedad de postres que van desde galletas, tortas, marquesas hasta cheesecakes. De hecho, la Cheesecake de Tiramisú y la Marquesa de Chips& Cookies despertaron mi lado dulcero, así que yo creo que no me aguantaré y visitaré de nuevo Zaituna Café lo antes posible.

Certainly, the Vanilla Latte was amazing and really lifted my spirits. Plus the Latte Art was beautiful and perfectly made. On the other hand, Made ordered their much loved Ginger Tea which, in Made's own words, is divine! although I can't confirm that yet because I haven't tried it yet. We also ordered a Tuna Pannini to share which was simply divine as it had an incredible contrast between sweet and salty. We ended up paying a total of about $11 for these three things that we consumed and it is really not bad at all because the quality of the food and the attention that this place provides is worth every dollar you can pay.

While we were in the place I took the task of approaching the dessert display case to visually inspect. It caught my eye that they have a wide variety of desserts ranging from cookies, cakes, marquesas to cheesecakes. In fact, the Tiramisu Cheesecake and the Chips & Cookies Marquise awakened my sweet tooth, so I think I will visit Zaituna Café again as soon as possible.
