—¡Ay, no!
Mañana viajaré a tu ciudad.

Ana and a Chat Love
Greetings, friends who love literature.💁☀️
Happy Saturday to everyone!
Sometimes it is incredible how, through a chat, two people who have never met can awaken deep emotions in each other: make the heart beat faster, provoke anger, sadness, or an entire whirlwind of feelings. Inspired by this idea, I want to share this short story with you. I hope you enjoy it.
Ana and a Chat Love
—Why don't you write to me?
Ana wondered, placing her hands on her head as she stared at the phone that, for more than three years, had been her only connection to Héctor, the man she had talked to for so many nights. Days went by and, although Héctor did not reply, Ana could see that her messages had been delivered. She knew he read them, even though he did not answer. So she continued writing to him naturally, telling him little things about her day, as if doing so could ease her sadness a little.
—Today I came home early from work. They are making some adjustments at the company, and we will have fewer hours for a while. Now I will have more free time... although I don't know what to do with it without our conversations.
The next day, she wrote to him again.
—Today I tried that coffee you liked so much. You were right, it's very good. It reminded me of you.
As the days went by, that chat became her little diary. One afternoon, while she was writing, the phone turned off.
—Oh, no! What am I going to do now?
The battery had died, so she had to wait several days before she could turn it on again. When she finally did, she opened the chat almost out of habit. There she found a message waiting for her.
—Why did you stop writing to me? What happened to you? I'm sorry, but I want to see you now. Tomorrow I will travel to your city. Is that okay with you?
Ana was speechless as she stared at the screen. At last, the meeting she had imagined for years seemed about to happen. She wanted to reproach him for the more than two years of silence, but she also thought that perhaps this was the surprise he had been preparing. After a few seconds, she wrote:
—Yes, I accept.
The next day, Ana arrived at the restaurant where they had arranged to meet. The waiter led her to the table, and she sat down with her eyes bright with emotion, fixed on the entrance.
A few minutes later, a man approached with a rose in his hand.
—Good afternoon, Ana. Are you even more beautiful in person than I imagined?
Ana looked up, her cheeks flushed.
—Thank you, but excuse me... I don't think we know each other.
The man smiled and held out the rose.
—You don't know me, but I know you quite well. I'm Daniel, the new owner of the phone line you've been writing to Héctor on for more than two years. If you allow me, from today on, I want you to get to know me.
