My first attempt of drawing, well... since elementary school lol :) So please consider this. Personally I really love this type of art but never had the chance to use it. Here on Steemit I think it is a great place to do just that.
I never had a good grade's in school regarding of drawing, or well, almost everything, except the physical classes. But I do remember that I used to love to draw, but our teacher didn't teach us almost anything.
So here I am, I watched a couple of tutorials and starting with small things. First the eye.
I alway draw the eye like just to round circles and that's it, but I was surprised how much detail there is, that you must pay attention to it. It is really just practise. I draw this eye in about 10 minutes.
This upper eye was my first attempt, and down there I tried again. The eyebrows are kinda funny. But I was just testing to see how it looks.
When I finished the second eye, the eyebrows where a little better but I am not quite satisfied with the actual eye. I drew lines like I was nervous, and yeah, I forgot to sharpen my pen :D
So here it is. I didn't bothe to find the proper paper, I was just rushing to draw it, I was excited lol.
Now I tried to draw a nose.
The nose wasn't looking to bad.
And of course, my dog needed to leave her paw mark on the paper. I swear, It was me who was doing the drawing, not my dog! :D
And finally I tried to draw a lips. This was a little bit tricky and hard. So much detail and preparations for this. You need to make the general shapes first, then to add so much little lines and proper shadows so that does not look to weird. It is all about contrast.
This looks a little weird to me, but I will practise more.
And here it is. Now I was curious if I blend this two together how does it gonna look.
And it wasn't so bad, It looks like a face and I am happy with that. Next time I will try to draw the whole face.
