The comprehensive May report has arrived.

May has started nicely but the weather is changeable
Well we are half satisfied
The first crops of our work have arrived
We have already picked the peas but they have started to arrive persistently .
We have both autumn and spring planting so now we don't know where to start with the peas
Autumn peas were delayed due to frost and will now arrive almost at the same time
And the spring peas are in full bloom and need to be picked.

The fig tree was also damaged in the spring frosts. The tops have dried up but the sides are sprouting leaves, which is good, it means it survived.

Well, in this small bowl is our cherry crop for this year And that's with four adult cherry trees
Nice big sweet ones, but there should have been a bucket and more of them

But we are happy with the onions.
The garlic have already made big heads,and the silver onions too
The red ones are progressing well for later harvest
And the new potatoes have arrived. Who else loves new potatoes?
Although the constant battle with the potato beetle.

My wife brought a young poplar tree sapling and now it's a tree, it's growing well, but the leaves are too bright for me

The blackberries are blooming, we hope for a good harvest.

We put straw mulch in the peppers
To protect them from small snails, reduce soil evaporation, which is high in our area, and prevent weeds from growing

Sweet corn, zucchini and cucumbers are doing well. There was a lot of rain in May but they enjoyed it.
