I have a gardening problem.
In question hivegardenqotw related to soil,I mentioned that I have a problem with basil and hot pepper.
I don't think the soil itself is the problem. It's the humus I bought.
Because I think I got an unwanted guest with it.
It's a persistent creeper that I haven't seen before.
I mixed garden soil and purchased humus and planted basil and hot peppers in pots
At first I didn't pay attention to it.
I thought it was a weed that was sprouting .
As I was weeding the grass, I was also removing it.

But very quickly the creeper came back
and not only did it come back but it wrapped itself around the basil and hot peppers.
We have creepers here too but they wrap around the plants and can be easily removed.
When this creeper wraps itself, it literally cuts itself, as if it is strangling the plant itself.
It has a yellowish color, so that confused me because I thought it was dried out.
The hot pepper somehow managed to survive, but both basils are suffering.

Since I water my potted plants regularly, the drought didn't affect it.
I tried to identify it with Lens but to no avail, actually just confusing.
I don't want to use chemicals, all I have left is to pluck by hand. And I have to do it gently because where the curl is, it leaves a mark.

I don't know what kind of creeper it is.
But it's a persistent little bastard. It's starting to bother me :)
If anyone has had this or similar experiences, any advice is appreciated.
My assumption is that I got it with purchased humus, because I don't know this type of creeper in our garden, yard, field.

Thanks for reading.
Until next time.
Stay healthy.
