Yesterday evening I got a message from my mother that they are rushing going to the hospital because my lolo (grandfather) cannot breathe properly. I was so worried for him especially I’m here in abroad I can’t do anything. From time to time I’m texting and asking updates for the condition of my Lolo, he was confined in the hospital. He was diagnosed emphysema before by cause of smoking and now, this disease attacked him again. He is always coughing and hard to breathe, his cough didn’t stop, and he’s coughing for a long time. My lolo is a type of a person who loves doing anything, who will do what he wants but now my lolo’s health is getting worst, it’s been harder and harder for him to do things that he loves to do. Even going to the bathroom alone, he can't do by himself. Now he’s taking nebulizer every 1 hour and 24hrs oxygen. The doctor suggested to put a tube in my lolo's body if there is no improvement and changes in his condition but we don't want to do that to him as we all knew it will be difficult and painful for him if they will place a tube in his body. And maybe it will be the cause of his death ( we don’t want that to happened to my Lolo ☹ )

I remember when I was a kid, I used to sit on the lap of my lolo and he is always giving me money and candy, I always kiss and bless to his hands. He is always telling us stories and jokes. My lolo is a joker, he always makes us happy and smiles . All he wants to his grandkids is to have a better a life, Lolo is my hero. I really miss him, I want to hug him and say to him everything will gonna be alright, all the pain will be gone soon.
Now that we are far from them it is really hard to relax and not to think my lolo’s condition, it makes me sad and worried and only we can do is to pray to God for his healing, it is the most powerful way to be positive.
I'm asking you guys to include my Lolo in your prayers ( Gabino Julian ) for his healing and fast recovery, that’s a really big help for us. Thank you.

Emphysema is a lung condition that causes shortness of breath. In people with emphysema, the air sacs in the lungs (alveoli) are damaged. Over time, the inner walls of the air sacs weaken and rupture creating larger air spaces instead of many small ones. This reduces the surface area of the lungs and, in turn, the amount of oxygen that reaches your bloodstream. When you exhale, the damaged alveoli don't work properly and old air becomes trapped, leaving no room for fresh, oxygen-rich air to enter.
