Hello again Holozing friends 😁.

Tonight I was motivated and I wanted to start drawing, although I have several characters that I have wanted to do I couldn't stand the hype and I started to make a small Fanart of the new character Glimmo, this little friend brings me some memories of my childhood, when in the afternoons on TV series like Digimon which I liked a lot, and thanks to this character I remember those moments. I hope you like this version and I want to thank you in advance for the support you have given me, let's start!

Hola de nuevo amigos de Holozing! 😁

La noche de hoy estuve motivado y quise ponerme a dibujar, aunque tengo varios personaje que he querido hacer no aguante el hype y me puse a realizar un pequeño Fanart del nuevo personaje Glimmo, este amiguito me trae un poco de recuerdos de mi infancia, cuando por las tardes pasaban en la TV series como Digimon la cual me gustaba mucho, y gracias a este personaje me acorde de esos momentos. Espero les guste esta versión y de antemano quiero agradecerles por el apoyo que me han dado, ¡Comencemos!

Just like yesterday I used the Thumbnail method to make several compositions of what would be the illustration but in small format, then I chose the one I liked the most, enlarged it and began to shape the lines, giving shape to the character. In a new layer I began to clean the lines with a textured brush, making some corrections as in the eyes of the character which I didn't like very much.

Igual que el día de ayer utilice el método de Thumbnail para realizar varias composiciones de lo que seria la ilustración pero en formato pequeño, luego elegí la que mas gusto, la amplie y comencé a dar forma a las líneas, dando forma al personaje. En una nueva capa comencé a limpiar las líneas con un pincel texturizado, haciendo algunas correcciones como en los ojos del personaje los cuales no me habían gustado mucho.

Then I assembled my color palette, here I used less saturated tones but in the same gamma as the reference colors. I applied a base layer of gray to stay within the limits and then I started to apply the base colors to the character.

Luego arme mi palea de color, aquí utilice tonos menos saturados pero en la misma gamma de los colores de la referencia. Aplique una capa base de color gris para no salirme de los limites y posteriormente comencé a aplicar los colores base al personaje.

Using a Crayon brush I placed the shadows on the character, these would not be too big because I didn't want to fill the character too dark. After finishing with the shadows I used the same brush to add some small lines of illumination to highlight some parts that I wanted to stand out.

For the background I applied a white color and added a figure behind my character which I painted green.

Utilizando un pincel tipo Crayon fui colocando las sombras en el personaje, estas no serian muy grandes ya que no quería llenar oscurecer mucho al personaje. Luego de terminar con las sombras use el mismo pincel para agregar unas pequeñas líneas de iluminación para resaltar algunas partes que quería que destacaran.

Para el fondo Aplique un color blanco y agregue una figura por detrás de mi personaje la cual pinte de verde.

To finish, I made a gradient between green and yellow tones for the background, plus I added some small sparkles. I also added some noise to the illustration for a better integration of colors and elements.

Para finalizar, hice un degradado entre tonos verdes y amarillos para el fondo, además de agregar unos pequeños destellos. También añadí algo de ruido a la ilustración para una mejor integración en los colores y elementos.
