Hi, hivers! I'm so happy today about introducing myself into the community, I really love new beginnings 'cause I consider that they're new opportunities. Also, the idea of sharing just a little of the things that I like, makes me really excited.
¿Que quién soy? Bueno, empecemos por mi nombre: Me llamo Marilegny González y soy Venezolana, nacida en la ciudad de Barcelona pero realmente me cuesta identificarme cuando me preguntan ''¿De dónde eres?'' ya que he vivido en varias ciudades, pero la mayoría han sido del Oriente del país así que simplemente respondo: ''De Oriente''.
Who am I? Let's start by my name: My name is Marilegny Gonzalez and I'm Venezuelan, born in the Barcelona city, but it's always kind of difficult to answer when someone asks me ''Where are you from?'' because I've lived in a lot of cities, but most of them have been in the East of the country so I just say: ''From the East''.
Tengo 24 años y soy Ingeniero Aeronáutico, pero debido a la pandemia no estoy ejerciendo, ya que la situación dentro de la aviación actualmente no están sencillas a nivel mundial, sin embargo tengo fé de que esto pasará pronto y podré volver a ejercer, ya que me apasiona muchísimo mi carrera. No obstante, hay muchas otras cosas que disfruto, soy una aprendiz y aprender cosas nuevas es algo que me gusta mucho. Investigar, documentarme, simplemente saber, soy muy curiosa y siempre hay algo nuevo que descubrir.
I'm 24 years old and I'm an Aeronautical Engineer, but due to the pandemics I'm no longer actively working because the actual worldwide aviation scenario isn't clear, anywise I fully believe that this will pass and I'll get back to the game again because I'm really passioned about my career. In the other hand, there are other things that I enjoy, I can say that I'm a learner 'cause I love learning new things all the time. To investigate, document me, basically own the knowledge, I'm really curious and there's always something new to learn.
Otra cosa que disfruto demasiado es el maquillaje. Es gracioso porque cuando era una adolescente no era para nada amiga del maquillaje y a medida de que fui entrando a la adultez me empecé a interesar muchísimo por el área, sólo que hubo un punto en mi carrera que no podía destinar dinero y tiempo a otras cosas que no fueran la universidad y el maquillaje fue quedando de lado. Una vez me gradué y empecé a trabajar, fui comprando poco a poco más maquillaje y perfeccionando una que otra técnica.
Ya en los últimos meses, estaba pensando en retomar mi hobbie y con organización podía lograrlo perfectamente, equilibrando trabajo, vida personal y hobby. Una vez comenzada la cuarentena, no lo dudé ni un momento y abrí nuevamente mi cuenta de maquillaje de Instagram, donde solía publicar mis looks y tips de maquillaje y no puedo estar más feliz. Para mí, el maquillaje es arte, es expresión, disfruto demasiado el hecho de tener el poder de no sólo enaltecer mi belleza sino la de otros y en conjunto con ello, la autoestima. Además de eso, me encanta crear looks coloridos, algo locochones y postearlos, ya que de eso se trata, de expresarse y ser libre de crear.
Another thing I love it's makeup. It's funny because when I was a teenager the makeup and I have never been friends, and as I was getting older, I started to get really interested in it but at some point in my career, I couldn't spend time or money in anything but college. Once I got graduated and started working, I started to buy some makeup and practicing some techniques.
In the last months, I started to think about getting back into my hobby, and with an organization, I would perfectly make it just harmonizing my job, my personal life, and my hobby. Once the quarantine started, I stopped thinking and started doing, and opened again my Instagram account where I used to share my makeup looks and tips and I couldn't be happier. Makeup is an art to me, is an expression, I enjoy the fact of having the power in my hands of not only outstanding my own beauty, but the other ones. Also, I love to create colorful looks, a little 'crazy' sometimes and post them, 'cause that's what actually it's about, about to express and feel free to create.
