I was shy growing up.

When I was about 11 years old, I remember visiting a museum with an uncle and cousins. My uncle asked me to read something out loud.

I stumbled and froze as I could not pronounce the complex words, and everyone started laughing at me for not being able to read.

Now I know that was an event that strongly affected my confidence.

I would do all I could to be invisible because there was a big part of me that felt I did not have what it took to be successful.

I simply lacked courage and didn’t believe in myself.

It has taken a lot of work and introspection to get rid of the thoughts that were holding me back.

I had to admit to myself that whatever I felt I had not achieved was not the world stopping me. But subconsciously I had been blocking myself.

This understanding was a breakthrough in my life

Intentionally stepping into courage is what drives me now

Life happens, calls for our attention and courage to take responsibility for our now and future

The journey is a rollercoaster but looking back, I can humbly say breaking those shackles of doubt and questioning myself have been a game changer

No matter the time and chances lost, choosing to live life intentionally NOW is essential

Step into courage and for now Breathe and BE.
