In today's package, am going to tell you guys a real story that took place in my family yesterday. The story is altogether funny though it's real. I've decided to share it here to let our men know why and how they should always care for their pregnant wives. It's funny funny funny. Now, let's look into the true story.
True story
My sister got married last 4 years. After a year and six months, they gave birth to a bouncing baby girl. Then, I was unable to visit them because, I traveled to Lagos state which is far away from my state of residence which is Abia state. Since I wasn't around, I didn't witness or see the lady with pregnancy. This time, since she conceived months ago, I've been around her, I decided to visit them yesterday and what I saw baffled me.
Throughout the day, I played with her and when the husband came back with 2 of his friends, they joined the chorus. Those his friends came from a far distant land for business. According to my sister, whenever they arrive, they must pass one or two nights in their house. So, they're familiar with each other. Alright, hehehe, around 9:30pm, my sis started yelling and shouting for egg. The husband told her to wait till morning but she insisted. The husband's friends, being experienced, asked the young man to search for cooked egg for her. But the husband said that it's already late. For sure, market and shop sellers have all retired for the day.
But the lady kept on requesting for cooked egg as if without eating it, she will die before sunrise. The husband's friends insisted they go in hunt of it. 3 of them left house in search of cooked egg. The only shop they found had only but fresh egg. The man bought 2 eggs with the intention to cook it. As soon as they reached house, the man went straight to kitchen, handed the egg to me for quick preparation. The wife requested that I hand over the egg to her. I told her to exercise Patience for the egg to boil. Hmm, my people, the lady, added volume to her cry for cooked egg. She told the husband she's not going to eat that egg because, what she need is already cooked egg.
The husband's friends encouraged him to search for cooked egg for his woman. This time, I went with them in search for cooked egg. We went to one of their neighbour's house, they told us they don't have cooked egg. The husband asked them to cook the egg but they referred us to another of their neighbour that sells egg. But they promised to cook the egg for us if their neighbour should fail. We walked straight to the house, thank God, they have more than expected. Instead of buying one or two, the husband bought 15 eggs with the hope that the wife will eat and get tired.
hehehe, the lady (my sister) asked the husband why he spent money buying 15 eggs. Anyway, she cracked and peeled only one egg. Hehehehe, haaaaah, what I saw threw me into confusion and amazement. My people, do you all know that instead of eating the egg, she opened it, and started smoking it. I mean, she started smelling or perceiving only but the odour. The husband stood still watching his wife and the wife was also serious smoking the egg's perfume continuously until she slept. hahaha.
Though, I've watched this kind of thing in movie earlier before now, but never think it can be a reality. Just learned a lesson today.
Whatever a pregnant woman demands, give it to her because,it's what her body and the baby or foetus demands. It's not her fault. Remember, a pregnant woman is in big war.
As for the remaining egg, don't ask me what transpired in-between me and them o. It's not my fault naa.
