Birds that i am rearing: their death is at hand. So painful - my entry to this week contest #289
Good day friends of birds and birdwatchers from all over the world. This is my first time posting in this community. Hope i am welcomed?
The below birds are the ones I am rearing in my home. I bought them when they were a week old. The specie is known as broiler. They are 3 months old now and are very huge.
Initially, I kept them inside broad cage. But I found out that they prefer walking around the environ. Since we are living in a well fenced environment, I allowed them to walk around freely.
My family want us to kill them for meat but as for me, a glimpse of them daily gives me joy. I can't predict how I will feel the day they will kill them. They are 3 in number with same color of feathers.
Dear friends, there is this adage that says and I quote: Charity begins from(at) home Yea, it is best for me to start with the birds at home before talking about those outside the home.
