XII. Alfonso was born in 1857. Alfonso became king of Spain in 1874.
Before Alfonso be king, rebellions were regularly taking place in Spain. Alfonso struggled with this situation. And after many years Alfonso ended all the revolts in Spain. Alfonso worked in common with the Spanish parliament. And the Alfonso meclise prepared a new constitution. With this new constitution, Spain started to be managed better. Alfonso also finished the ongoing problems in Cuba. Peaceful Alfonso tried to strengthen the Spanish economy. And Alfonso succeeded in this.
However, some people in Spain have tried to complo and assassinate Alfonso. But all of these attemts failed. In 1885 Alfonso passed away due to tuberculosis.
